WOMAN Challenge: Women and girls Out Moving Across the Nation
19,440 people and 1,265 teams are participating in the 2008 WOMAN Challenge!
Here is what others are saying about the
WOMAN Challenge!

"As a former runner of 6 miles a day, having moved to a sedentary area I regained 30lbs I had lost from running. But I finally found something that works!! Nothing motivated like this Challenge did! Not even working in health care! Excitedly, I report I've lost 7 lbs within the month of June, with minimal exertion and eating adjustments. So I am excited for July and August to start! Thank you so much for this motivation. I look forward to taking this site along on my journey to lose my final 23lbs! Sincerely, MAS"

"GrapeVine Cherries are Parish Nurses who partner with the Wisconsin Women's Health Foundation to enhance rural women's awareness of health issues that disproportionately affect women, or affect women differently than men. Physical activity usually helps to improve the health of women in the Cherries' communities. Whether heart, diabetes, osteoporosis, mental wellness, or cancer recovery, even a gentle walk-about can make a body feel better. And the Cherries are the berry best!"
