Collaborate with the Office on Women’s Health

Womenshealth.gov, girlshealth.gov, the National Breastfeeding Helpline, and toll-free information referral center — (800-994-9662) are free services of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office on Women's Health. We provide reliable, accurate, commercial-free information on the health of women and and girls ages 10 to 16. We cover over 800 topics on issues such as puberty, reproductive health, smoking cessation, heart disease, menopause and caregiving.

The Office on Women's Health works with organizations, associations, corporations, and health care professionals who are interested in women's health and share the goal of inspiring healthy behaviors.

We welcome the opportunity to collaborate with your organization to reach more people and spread the word about the importance of women's health. Do you have a newsletter or some other publication you use to promote your services? We encourage you to use our ready-made descriptions to promote womenshealth.gov and our services.

Spotlight on Women's Health

Reaching thousands of women via our monthly e-newsletter, this program allows both health professionals and patients to share their stories on specific women's health issues.

Recommend Your Resources

We welcome recommendations for new resources. We ask that you review our selection guidelines before e-mailing in a new URL for consideration. All requests for links must be accompanied by a completed "organizational interview" form which can be downloaded here.

Nominate a girlshealth.gov "Spotlight On" Celebrity

Featured on girlshealth.gov, the “Spotlight On” section provides interviews with young people who have done motivating, unique, or inspirational things. You can nominate someone by contacting our marketing and outreach director at 800-994-9662.

Reprint Our Materials

You can reprint our fact sheets from womenshealth.gov and our other publications and distribute them to anyone! They are copyright-free and cover a variety of topics. You can also reprint our girlshealth.gov fact sheets to help teach girls about specific topics. If your organization would like to reprint and distribute any of our hard-copy printed materials, such as our Easy Guides to Breastfeeding or the Teen Survival Guide, please contact our marketing and outreach director at 800-994-9662.

Campaigns & Activities

The Office on Women's Health participates in a variety of special events throughout the year. From local health fairs to national conferences, we exhibit our materials and reach out to the public all over the country. If your organization holds a health fair, conference, or expo, and you would like us to participate, please contact our conference manager at 800-994-9662 for more information.

Promote Breastfeeding

Encourage breastfeeding by promoting our National Breastfeeding Helpline at 800-994-9662. Trained breastfeeding peer counselors can help answer questions in English or Spanish.
